Deficiency of the Gross - Llewellyn Smith Sum Rule and Qcd Vacuum Polarization Effect

چکیده
From the analysis of the recent CCFR Collaboration data for the structure function xF3(x,Q ) (0.015 < x < 0.65 and 1.2 GeV 2 < |Q| < 501 GeV ) of the deep inelastic neutrino nucleon scattering we conclude that probably part of the nucleon baryon number is due to the vacuum polarization effects. The deep inelastic lepton nucleon scattering processes (DIS) occurring at small distances characterize the internal structure of the elementary particles. In the past few years new experiment data with high precision and in large kinematic region has became available. Recently the QCD analysis of the most precise data for the neutrino nucleon DIS structure function xF3(x,Q ) measured by the CCFR Collaboration at the FERMILAB collider [1] has been performed [2]. This analysis results in the estimation of the Gross Llewellyn Smith sum rule (GLSsr) [3] in wide region of Q, 2 GeV 2 < Q < 500 GeV ,

NNLO QCD Analysis of CCFR data on xF3 Structure Function and Gross-Llewellyn Smith Sum Rule with Higher Twist and Nuclear Corrections
A detailed NNLO QCD analysis of new CCFR data on the xF3 structure function including the target mass, higher twist and nuclear corrections was performed and parametrizations of the perturbative and power terms of the structure function were constructed. The results of QCD analysis of the structure function were used to study the Q2−dependence of the Gross-Llewellyn Smith sum rule. The αS/π−exp...
متن کاملThe Gross–Llewellyn Smith Sum Rule in the Analytic Approach to Perturbative QCD
We apply analytic perturbation theory to the Gross–Llewellyn Smith sum rule. We study the Q2 evolution and the renormalization scheme dependence of the analytic three-loop QCD correction to this sum rule, and demonstrate that the results are practically renormalization scheme independent and lead to rather different Q2 evolution than the standard perturbative correction possesses. What does the CCFR measurement of the Gross–Llewelyn Smith sum rule tell us? Abstract Recently the CCFR Collaboration reported the measurement of the Gross–Llewellyn Smith sum rule 1 0 dF νp+νp 3 (x, Q 2 = 3 GeV 2) = 2.50±0.018(stat). Subsequently Kataev and Sidorov analyzed the Q 2 –dependence of this sum rule and pointed out a discrepancy between the results obtained via integration of the NL...
متن کاملQCD analysis of the CCFR data for xF 3 and Higher – Twist Contribution
QCD analysis of the CCFR data for xF 3 and Higher–Twist Contribution. Abstract The QCD analysis of the xF 3 structure function measured in deep-inelastic scattering of neutrinos and antineutrinos on an iron target at the Fermilab Tevatron is done in 1–, 2– and 3–loop order of QCD. The x dependence of the higher–twist contribution is evaluated. The experimental value of higher–twist corrections ...

We recapitulate the method which resums the truncated perturbation series of a physical observable in a way which takes into account the structure of the leading infrared renormalon. We apply the method to the Gross-Llewellyn Smith (GLS) sum rule. By confronting the obtained result with the experimentally extracted GLS value, we determine the value of the QCD coupling parameter which turns out ...
